Jewish Barcelona

We will discover the history and curiosities of the ancient Call or medieval Jewish quarter and how it coexisted with the Christian population. Call is the name given to Jewish neighborhoods in Catalonia and comes from the word “קהל” (cahal), community. In Barcelona it is located in the heart of the medieval city. Barcelona used to have up to five synagogues in the Middle Ages.
